I saw your post about people wanting to watch classic who, and here is a very reliable online site where you can watch Classic, New, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures, and K-9 and company. It is currently only up to ‘The Girl who Waited’ for New Who, but it’ll update soon enough. There are little popup ads, but they’re those ‘wait five seconds and continue to the page’, so they’re really not a bother. Hope this helps some people!!

Brilliant!
I found a link, where you’ll be able to find links from all kinds of sites (including megaupload) for all the new seasons (including the newest christmas special). It updates pretty fast, which is nice when the seasons are running. http://www.tv-links.eu/tv-shows/Doctor-Who—2005-_221/

The Doctor: [hologram, speaking towards the console] This is Emergency Programme One. Rose, now listen, this is important. If this message is activated, then it can only mean one thing: we must be in danger, and I mean fatal. I’m dead, or about to die any second with no chance of escape.
Rose Tyler: No!
The Doctor: And that’s OK, I hope it’s a good death. But I promised to look after you, and that’s what I’m doin’. The TARDIS is takin’ you home.
Rose Tyler: I won’t let you.
The Doctor: And I bet you’re fussing and moaning now, typical. But hold on, and just listen a bit more. The TARDIS can never return for me. Emergency Programme One means I’m facing an enemy that should never get their hands on this machine. So this is what you should do: let the TARDIS die. Just let this old box gather dust. No one can open it, no one will even notice it. Let it become a strange little thing standing on a street corner. And over the years, the world will move on, and the box will be buried. And if you wanna remember me, then you can do one thing. That’s all, one thing. The Doctor: [hologram turns to face Rose, and with a full voice] Have a good life. Do that for me, Rose. Have a fantastic life.

Thanking you!

I just…well, I’d really like to say that you summed up everything I’ve ever felt about Nine and Christopher Eccleston in your post. I don’t understand why Nine isn’t more people’s favourite. He was funny, brilliant and the energy Christopher Eccleston brought to him was absolutely extraordinary. And, I have to say, if I had started watching the show with DT as The Doctor I wouldn’t love it as much as I do simply because it would be more…what’s the word I’m looking for?…oh, I don’t know. More episodic or…or flighty. Not that DT wasn’t great, he was, but I don’t think he could have supported it as well as Christopher Eccleston did. Oh! It would be more like a show people watch solely for the actors/actresses. Don’t know the word for that but, yeah. And I’m rambling now.
Just…thank you for saying everything I couldn’t, I guess.
Oh, and you run an absolutely wonderful blog. I really enjoy it.

Thank you! I think Nine gave the show a solid base on which to build, I think that’s what you mean. Ten wouldn’t be as great without Nine before him. DT wouldn’t have been a good Nine. Eccleston was perfect for Nine and Nine was perfect to start the show off strong. People who start watching with Ten or Eleven are missing out on so much, because the emotional heartbreak pretty much starts with Nine in the new show and there’s just no way to get the full impact without really watching and having a little respect for Nine.
